The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats home health patients with various impairments, establishing treatment plans using methods like exercises and focusing on independence with daily living activities. This includes patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, and supervising occupational therapy assistants according to state requirements.
Candidates must possess a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and hold current, good-standing licensure in Oklahoma, along with Basic Cardiac Life Support certification. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of recent Home Health experience, an active Oklahoma driver's license, and access to a required vehicle.
