The Optometrist will travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to conduct eye exams using mobile equipment, interpret results, diagnose, and treat ocular diseases. Responsibilities also include prescribing and fitting eyeglasses, recommending follow-up care, and educating patients, families, and staff on vision protocols.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree and maintain an active state license to practice. The role seeks a compassionate provider interested in serving geriatric and underserved communities.
