The Residential Counselor supports group home residents with daily living activities and delivers high-quality services to help consumers achieve measurable outcomes outlined in their Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRP). Key duties include assisting with personal care goals, educating consumers on medications, coordinating services, and accurately documenting all services provided.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a mental health-related field, or an equivalent combination of college education and related experience totaling four years, or a High School Diploma/GED plus four years of related work or life experience. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is also required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. This role requires driving as an essential function. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be subject to post-offer verification of driving eligibility consistent with company insurance requirements.
Use of Company Van as needed to transport consumers.
