Position Overview: The Family Medicine Physician will examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnesses, while also providing preventive care and counseling patients and families on acute and chronic conditions.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, team-based care model focused on high-quality outcomes and patient-centered care.
Practice Details: Established primary care practice with a collaborative team-based environment Patient encounters average 18 patients per day 1.0 FTE = 34 patient contact hours per week Call Frequency: Low intensity, phone consultation only with first-tier nurse triage Openings: 0.75 to 1.0 FTE (Full Time) – flexible scheduling options Fully integrated Electronic Medical Record (EPIC)
Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical exams Develop differential diagnoses and order appropriate diagnostic testing Provide preventive, acute, and chronic disease management Prescribe medications and administer vaccinations Interpret diagnostic results and implement treatment plans Refer patients to specialists as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation Participate in cross-coverage and care coordination Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team Engage in quality improvement initiatives and system-based practices Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS or AOA) Licensed or ability to obtain licensure through the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Ability to obtain and maintain DEA certification Meet credentialing and privileging requirements Income Details: Resident stipend, Medical School loan forgiveness, sign-on bonus and relocation available. The posted pay range is for a 1.0 FTE.
The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.

Positions with the same min/max are flat rate jobs based on a 1.0 FTE schedule.
Compensation plans based on production can allow for higher pay than the range posted.
