The primary role involves operating MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images, requiring patient screening for precautions, explaining procedures, positioning patients, and performing routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision. Responsibilities also include precise adjustment of scan parameters, strict adherence to physician orders and safety regulations, and accurate maintenance of patient records.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiography. Required credentials include current ARRT or ARMRIT registration, state licensure if applicable, and current CPR certification, along with sufficient experience to perform MRI procedures independently.

Essential duties and responsibilities: (90%) Patient MRI Imaging
(5%) MRI Department Support
1. Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades 2. Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary 3. Assists in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable
(5%) Completes other tasks as assigned
