Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, with college preferred, and must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or have three years of applicable experience. Required certifications include current Health Care Provider certification and certification from AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT, with AAMA preferred.
