The Dental Assistant will provide chairside support during procedures, prepare treatment rooms and instruments, and take/process dental X-rays for active-duty service members. Key duties also include maintaining electronic patient records, educating patients on oral hygiene, and ensuring strict infection control standards are met.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Dental Assistant program and hold current South Dakota Dental Assistant certification, along with radiology/X-ray certification or transcripts. A minimum of two years of dental assisting experience and proficiency with electronic health records are required.
