The therapist evaluates and assesses patients to establish functional, measurable goals, providing treatment according to a written plan of care to meet those goals. Responsibilities also include planning for discharge, documenting progress, and potentially supervising clinical students and support staff.
A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience or advanced training/certification in the primary area of assignment is required for this role. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire are mandatory.
