CCLI is looking for an On Call Registered Nurse with a generous heart to work at Talbot House, a residential withdrawal and stabilization center licensed by the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS).

Responsibilities

Assess clients during telephone screening, at the time of admission, and as needed to identify and address health problems and unmet client care needs; Monitor and care for clients’ condition, advise treatment team of any significant changes or treatment issues and provide input for treatment and discharge planning; Ensure compliance with medication procedures; Interact extensively with clients in various stages of recovery, helping them to acclimate to program activities and procedures; Provide general education and support in areas of treatment and health maintenance; Collaborate with medical and clinical staff, and liaise with emergency and/or hospital personnel as needed; Provide documentation in an electronic medical records system.

Qualifications

Current New York State licensure in Registered Professional Nursing; Nursing experience in behavioral healthcare settings a strong plus; Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team; Strong listening skills necessary to provide trauma-informed, client-centered care; PC proficiency required. Experience with electronic medical records data entry preferred.

Schedule

On
Call: 1 – 4 shifts per month - 12.5 hours per shift. 7
PM - 7:30
AM or 7
AM - 7:30 PM Flexible schedule available.
Rate of
Pay: $50.00 per hour This rate of pay serves as a good faith estimate. Actual pay is based on a number of factors which may include a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and work location. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation which may be applicable to this position.
