Responsible for the cardiac monitoring of patients, including those with pacemakers and AICDs. The role involves documenting rhythm changes and reporting them according to established protocols.
Requires a high school diploma, BLS certification through the AHA, and completion of a Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia course. Candidates must possess thorough knowledge of arrhythmia recognition and basic computer skills.
This is a full‑time, night‑shift Monitor Technician position located at West Hospital. The hours are 6p–6:30a on a rotating schedule. Candidates must have experience in accurately reading and identifying cardiac rhythms.
