• We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist Float who would report to our Manager of Radiology.
• This full-time position will be at our Westchester, IL clinic located inside the Prairie Medical Center.
• This position is in an outpatient setting with a Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends or holidays.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare patient for radiologic procedures and takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Maintain working knowledge in the use of PACS, DR and CR Radiologic equipment.
• Use C-Arm where appropriate.
• Prepare medications for, and assists the physician with Fluoroscopic procedures.
• Maintain Radiology rooms and stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies
• Prepares and positions patient for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Moves imaging equipment into specified position, determines exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of body involved, and degree of penetration required, and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
