The Physical Therapist Assistant directly provides physical therapy services to patients in their homes or residences, following physician orders and implementing the plan of care supervised by a Physical Therapist. The incumbent is responsible for all required documentation related to care provided and communicating pertinent patient information to the healthcare team.
Candidates must have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program and current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Ohio, along with CPR Certification. A minimum of 1-3 years of job-related experience is required, with clinical experience preferably occurring within the last three years.
