The Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist prepares and operates imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, assisting physicians during invasive procedures like cardiac catheterization and angioplasty. They are also responsible for patient safety, administering contrast media, adhering to radiation safety protocols, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited radiologic technology program with current ARRT certification (R) and advanced certification in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI). Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, with a minimum of one year of experience in cardiovascular/interventional imaging preferred.
Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. HS Diploma or GED required Current ARRT certification (R) required. Advanced certification in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography (CI) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) required. State licensure as applicable. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required. Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiovascular/interventional imaging preferred. Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, interventional procedures, and imaging techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Day Shift; 7:30a - 6p
