Market context

Indiana lab technician roles stay steady

Medical Laboratory Technician I roles in Indiana are typically tied to ongoing hospital and clinical testing needs, so demand often reflects the volume of routine diagnostics and staffing coverage. Competition can be strong because employers usually look for an associate’s degree, technologist qualification under 42 CFR 493.1433, and often prefer ASCP certification plus 1–3 years of clinical experience. Before applying, compare the required credentials carefully and note that the job requirements and benefits on this platform are AI-summarized from the original job description, which can save time when reviewing fit.
