The Respiratory Therapist sets up and operates diagnostic and treatment equipment, administers respiratory gases and medications, and responds to hospital emergencies. They also advise on blood gas results, educate patients on home equipment use, and assist with mechanically ventilated patient transport.
Candidates must possess a valid Oklahoma Respiratory Therapist License and current BLS certification, with an Associate Degree being preferred. Experience of 0 to 1 year is preferred for this role.
