The Medical Assistant is responsible for delivering skilled patient care, performing clinical procedures, and administering medications. They are also tasked with triaging patients and maintaining electronic medical records.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification. RMA or CMA certifications are preferred.
A Medical Assistant is responsible for skilled delivery of patient care and procedures; administrating medication, knowledge of immunization, point of care testing, experience with phlebotomy, triaging patients, and direct patient care, knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal communication, interpersonal skills, possess ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment is required. Efficiency in use of EMR (electronic medical records) and additional clinical tasks may be assigned.
