The Interventional Radiology Tech performs various technical duties involving angiography and other imaging equipment, ensuring proper setup and producing high-quality images during and after procedures. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient records via HIS, RIS, and PACS, and ensuring all required supplies are available for procedures.
Candidates must have graduated from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, requiring an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), and possess at least one year of experience in a hospital radiology department. Required licensure includes ARRT certification (RT(R)), Connecticut State License, and CPR Certification.

Graduation from an A.M.A. approved Radiologic Technology program. AS degree required, BS degree preferred. At least 1 year experience in a hospital radiology department, One-Two years experience in a hospital radiology department preferred. Experience in O.R., Biopsies or other invasive procedures, or CT modality experience desirable.
