The Clinical Audiologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders, which includes performing comprehensive evaluations and documenting findings in medical records. Key duties involve counseling patients on treatment options like hearing aids or implantable devices, and performing specialized tests such as vestibular assessments and electrophysiologic evaluations.
New hires must possess an Au.D. degree, while current employees require a Master's degree plus a minimum of four years of audiology experience. All candidates must obtain PECOS Enrollment within three months of hire and maintain Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
To assess, diagnose, and treat patients with hearing, balance and related disorders.
Minimum one (1) year of experience in vestibular testing (videonystagmography (VNG) or electronystagmography ( ENG)). Minimum one (1) year of experience in behavioral pediatric assessment (infants and toddlers). Minimum one (1) year of experience in Auditory Evoked Potential testing (all ages).
