Provides safe and efficient patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes in patient condition. Responsible for maintaining a safe care environment, documenting patient data, and assisting with physical transfers.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and a current Maryland CNA certification or equivalent clinical training. Must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification and possess basic knowledge of medical terminology.
