Requirements summary
Candidates must possess an associate’s degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field and must obtain the ARRT certification in Radiography (R) upon hire. Additionally, 2 years of experience in Computerized Tomography (CT) with ARRT certification is required, or alternative certifications like Nuclear Medicine Technologist (N) with ARRT or NMTCB, and Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days.

Scope of work CT Technologist provides healthcare services, applying computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment.
Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues.
Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
