The Surgical Technologist 2 demonstrates advanced knowledge in the first scrub role, anticipating surgeon needs and expediting the operative procedure. Responsibilities include demonstrating advanced knowledge of anatomy, aseptic, and surgical techniques, and performing in a preceptor role for new staff.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have a minimum of one year of Surgical Technologist experience. Required credentials include being a Registered Surgical Technologist in Virginia and holding Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon starting.
Inova Fairfax Professional Services Building Operating Room is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist to join the team. This role will be PRN rotating 10-hr shifts.
