The Vascular Sonographer will perform comprehensive vascular exams, including LE, UE Venous, Carotid, and PVR, while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures. Overlook Medical Center is seeking a Registered Vascular Sonographer to perform high-quality Vascular exams using IAC-accredited protocols- LE, UE Venous, Carotid, and PVR. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures. Collaborates with physicians and team members to support diagnostic accuracy and continuous quality improvement Essential Function/Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive vascular exams. Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort. Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members. Maintain equipment and exam rooms per infection control standards. Participate in lab quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions. Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning. Experience in Epic and Change Health software preferred.
Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent Graduate of an accredited CVT school with focus on vascular sonography (CAAHEP accredited preferred). Skills and Qualification: Credentialed with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification required. Candidates with a minimum of one-years’ experience in the field are preferred . Excellent customer service skills with patient focus required. #LI-AM1
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited CVT school with a focus on vascular sonography and hold ARDMS or CCI credentialing, specifically Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification. Experience in Epic and Change Health software is preferred, along with excellent patient-focused customer service skills.
