The position involves providing evaluation and treatment for patients referred by medical staff and offering clinical expertise to the multidisciplinary therapy team. This role also serves as a resource for physical therapy staff regarding clinical guidance, practice, and ethics, including supervising student education programs.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physical Therapy program and licensed by the State of Texas, along with holding current BLS certification completed during orientation. Additional requirements include strong knowledge of advanced therapy skills and competency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
Provides evaluation and treatment of patients referred by medical staff; provides clinical expertise to the multidisciplinary therapy staff, and serves as a resource for the physical therapy staff for clinical guidance, practice and ethics. Provides supervision for PT/PTA student education programs.
