JOB SUMMARY The LPN practices under the direction and supervision of the physician/nurse practitioner (NP) and within the scope of practice defined by the State Board of Nursing. Contributes to the physician’s/NP assessment of office patients and assists the physician/NP as needed with treatment and education of the patient. Under the clinical supervision of the physician/NP, and the administrative direction of the practice manager, demonstrates the ability to perform procedures in the office setting.
DEPT. SCOPE OF SERVICE The SVHSC/BMH-owned or managed physician practices provide medical services in various specialties and offices including family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, cardiology, orthopedics, urology, and general surgery. The practices are staffed by physicians and other licensed providers who are supported by clinical staff (LPNs or medical assistants) and clerical staff (receptionists, transcriptionists, file clerks). Hours vary by practice.
Education: Graduate from an NLN accredited school for Licensed Practice Nursing.

Compensation Disclosure in Accordance with Vermont Act 155 In compliance with Vermont Act 155, Brattleboro Memorial Hospital provides the compensation range for this position in good faith. The listed range represents the pay scale reasonably expected for a successful candidate based on factors such as relevant experience, education, internal equity, and market competitiveness. Final compensation will be determined during the hiring process.
