The Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP) will provide direct mental health services including intake, crisis intervention, individual, and group counseling within a correctional/forensic setting. This role involves active participation in the treatment team to coordinate care, maintain clinical documentation, facilitate therapeutic groups, and provide feedback.
Applicants must hold a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or counseling and possess a current and unrestricted license in the state of New Jersey. Successful candidates must also pass a required criminal background check.

The LMHP provides mental health services such as intake, crisis intervention, individual counseling and group counseling Acts as a member of the treatment team to determine, coordinate and implement appropriate inmate/patient care The LMHP prepares and regularly maintains progress notes and discharge summaries on patients Facilitates regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the inmates/patient's treatment plan The LMHP provides observational feedback within the multidisciplinary team context Refers inmate/patient for outside services once released All other duties as assigned
