This role is responsible for collecting blood specimens, performing laboratory office duties such as patient registration and data entry, and processing specimens for testing or shipment. Duties also include handling various body fluid specimens and potentially performing limited Point-of-Care tests.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent, along with required previous phlebotomy experience and/or training. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are necessary, and background in a medical laboratory or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Phlebotomist: 36 Hours Per Week (AM/PM)
Phlebotomist: 24 Hours Per Week (Midnights)
MT/MLT/Laboratory Scientist: 40 Hours Per Week (PM)
Laboratory Assistant III: 40 Hours Per Week (Midnights)
Laboratory Assistant III: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)
Laboratory Assistant: 20 Hours Per Week (AM)
