The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, directing, and implementing patient care for all ages, developing patient education, and evaluating the process against standards of care. Key functions include ensuring physician orders are followed, documenting the nursing process thoroughly, and promoting a positive work environment.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED) and hold current licensure with the State of Texas along with appropriate CPR Certification. Specialty certifications like TNCC & ENPC are preferred, or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
The registered Nurse is responsible for collaborating, planning, directing, and implementing patient care for all ages. The RN develops and guides patient education and evaluates the process using standards of care.
