Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants assess patients' medical and mental health needs to proactively manage conditions and ensure compliance with clinical service regulations. Responsibilities also include prescribing medications, ordering diagnostics, monitoring treatment response, and collaborating with RN case managers.
Candidates must possess an FNP, AGNP, AHACNP, or PA license and have graduated from an accredited APRN or PA program. A minimum of three years of clinical nursing or rehabilitation experience working with geriatric populations is required, along with experience in Electronic Health Records and Microsoft applications.
