The technologist is responsible for producing high-quality images for physician interpretation that meet Mayo Clinic Radiology Department standards, requiring competence across various imaging equipment and technology. Duties also include practicing proper safety guidelines for all personnel and patients, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a high level of patient service.

Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.
Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients.
Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
