The Behavioral Health Specialist will assist with direct patient care, daily management, and support therapeutic and leisure programming for patients aged 13 and beyond experiencing medical and behavioral health challenges. This role involves promoting activities of daily living based on each patient’s developmental level while working under the supervision of an LPN/RN.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, though a Bachelor's degree or coursework in related fields like mental health or recreational therapy is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English and may require prior experience as a nurse's aide or psychiatric aide.
