The Medical Assistant will primarily assist physicians with patient care management, executing both administrative and clinical procedures, including taking vital signs and performing venipunctures. This role may also involve operating radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images and maintaining clinic supplies and cleanliness.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, and preference is given to candidates with certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants or as a Registered Medical Assistant. Experience performing Radiology for two or more years and advanced training in Micro needling are preferred, alongside current Basic Life Support certification.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician. This practitioner will assist with patient care management, execute administrative and clinical procedures. Additionally, this practitioner may assist performing x-rays and may assist with the radiology needs of the clinic. Competence in the field also requires that a medical assistant adhere to ethical and legal standards of professional practice, recognize and respond to emergencies, and demonstrate professional characteristics.
