The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality ultrasound procedures according to departmental policies and assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies when necessary. This role requires monitoring patient well-being during exams and understanding the theory and operation of ultrasound instruments.
Applicants must have completed an Ultrasound Technologist program with a diploma and passed the SPI exam, while current ARDMS certification or registry eligibility is preferred. A current BLS certification is also mandatory for success in this role.
