About the role

The role involves utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices to assist providers in accordance with organizational standards. This includes working collaboratively within the Dermatology team across multiple Minnesota locations.

  • Park Nicollet is looking to hire LPNs and Medical Assistants to join our Dermatology team! Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, provides assistance to providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies. Our Dermatology group is the largest in Minnesota, with six convenient locations: St. Louis Park, Maple Grove, Chanhassen, Burnsville, Wayzata, and a site near the Airport. We employ over 40 providers, including 5 full-time Mohs Surgeons and 4 Dermatopathologists. We are proud to offer our own Residency Program, reflecting our commitment to education and advancement in the field. Park Nicollet continues to expand, with a goal to hire more providers each year. You would be joining a team of more than 80 medical support staff members and over 20 frontline and call center staff. At Park Nicollet Dermatology, we recognize your value and the vital role everyone plays in the success and functionality of our department.

St.

Louis Park is the hub location.

This role may require occasional floating to the St.

Louis Park site to support provider coverage as needed.

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Work 30 minutes before clinic starts at 0800 until clinic ends between 4-5.

Work 1 days in Wayzata and 3 Days in Chanhassen with the same provider at both locations.

Required Qualifications

  • We are open to filling this position with an LPN or MA.
  • Requirements for each are outlined below:
  • Licensed
  • Practical
  • Nurse (LPN): Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing. Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.
  • Medical
  • Assistant (MA): Graduate from a Medical Assisting program accredited by “The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Current BLS certification for health professionals through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required and maintained. On-line BLS certification is not acceptable.

Requirements

Candidates must qualify as either a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Medical Assistant (MA), requiring graduation from an accredited program and maintenance of current state licensure or certification. Both roles mandate current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
