The Counselor provides documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients dealing with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis issues. Responsibilities include performing intake assessments, completing documentation, and developing/revising individual treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in a mental health or related field, is required, along with at least one year of supervised counseling experience in substance abuse treatment. LADC I or CADAC certification is preferred, and basic computer skills for utilizing electronic health records are necessary.

Performing intake assessments and completes all associated documentation within required time frames. Providing quality clinical services and case management to assigned clients in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design and in compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory bodies. Developing, implementing, and revising individual treatment plans for assigned clients in established time frames with the participation of the client. Demonstrating a satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies. QualificationsQualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required. LADC I or CADAC certification preferred Minimum of one-year supervised counseling experience in the substance abuse treatment or closely related field required Must have basic ability in use of computers sufficient to utilize electronic health records
