The Primary Therapist monitors and delivers high-quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients, which includes coordinating the continuum of care, conducting assessments, and implementing individual, group, and educational services. Responsibilities also involve maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu, intervening in crises, participating with the multidisciplinary team, and handling discharge planning and community referrals.
Candidates must possess a Master’s level mental health professional degree from an accredited college in a related mental health discipline. A minimum of one year of full-time experience in a chemical or sexual dependency treatment setting is required.
