Job Summary and Responsibilities As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs.

Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging.

This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

Operate diagnostic CT equipment, including General Electric CT scanners and workstations, to perform all diagnostic CT studies according to formal protocols.

Provide comprehensive patient care across all age groups, explaining procedures, addressing questions, and acting as a liaison between the patient and radiologist.

Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and document patient care notes and incident reports as needed during the CT procedure.

Requirements

Candidates must graduate from an accredited school of Radiological Technology with coursework in cross-sectional anatomy and possess ARRT registration and Washington State Medical Radiographer licensure upon hire. A minimum of one year of work experience in the senior level of the core job family or equivalent demonstrated ability is required, with one year as a CT Technologist preferred.
