What You'll Do: As a valued member of our technical team, you'll work alongside experienced veterinarians and technicians to provide high-quality patient care, including: Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments, and procedures Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Administering medications and treatments Monitoring hospitalized patients and recognizing changes in patient status Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Dentistry and dental radiography Diagnostic imaging Laboratory sample collection and processing Pharmacy duties and medication preparation Client education and discharge instructions Medical record documentation and treatment estimates Benefits of Joining VCA Animal Hospital: Mental Health: Access to the Lyra mental health platform, including up to 12 therapy sessions per year, guided self-care, and meditation resources.
