RNs in the Adult ICU (AICU) provide care for a variety of critical patients, including medical, antepartum, postpartum, and GYN oncology cases, handling situations like hemorrhage, critical OB, CRRT, and ventilator management. They are also responsible for all Rapid Responses and Code Blue situations for the adult patient population at the Women/Children campus.
Candidates must be a graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing with current Alabama licensure, and while experience is preferred, new graduates are accepted. Required certifications include BLS before orientation conclusion and ACLS within one year of hire.
Overview Utilizes radiographic techniques to obtain diagnostic images.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate accredited radiology program. ARRT Licensure within 1 year of hire. BLS certification within 90 days of hire. Additional Skills/Abilities: Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
