The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate or Monitor Technician. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Candidates must have a High School Graduation or Equivalent along with Nursing Assistant Course Work, or possess a Certified Medical Assistant certification or one year of CNA experience. Required certifications include Nursing Assistant Certification and Basic Life Support, with Basic EKG required if cross-trained as a Monitor Technician.
