Heart and Vascular sonographers perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures in vascular and echocardiography modalities while developing client relationships through excellent patient care. They also act as an educational resource and may participate in research and procedures.
Candidates must be a graduate from an accredited Ultrasound training program or have equivalent on-the-job experience, holding ARDMS Registry in echo/vascular or being registry eligible. Required skills include excellent interpersonal/communication abilities and current knowledge of cardiac/vascular sonography technology, with a minimum of one year of modality experience or recent graduation.
The Heart and Vascular sonographers perform non-invasive ultrasound in the modalities of vascular and echocardiography. They develop client relationships through excellent patient care. They act as an educational resource to clients, providing quality and value to all aspects of services. The Sonographer will be able to participate in research and in procedures and will work in a supportive environment and be extensively trained on our protocols and standards while working on the latest equipment and technology.
