Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.

Requires competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.

Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel and patients.

Fosters teamwork through effective communication.

Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.

Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.

Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Qualifications

Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program. Additional Qualifications: Organized, efficient and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.

License or Certifications

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited radiography program and possess ARRT certification in Radiography, with CT certification required within 18-24 months of hire. The role demands excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to cover varied hours, shifts, and on-call duties.
