Provide direct clinical support to dentists and hygienists by preparing instruments, assisting during procedures, and managing patient records. Maintain a sterile environment and perform expanded functions such as taking radiographs and applying topical anesthetics.
Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of experience or graduation from an ADA accredited program. Must hold or obtain specific Oregon certifications for radiation, sealants, and expanded functions, as well as BLS certification.
Provide direct support to dentists, hygienists, denturists and other provider personnel in the delivery of dental care and service within a Kaiser Permanente dental office.
Basic knowledge of sterilization and infection control equipment.
