Provide peer-based support, mentoring, and advocacy to individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Assist participants in developing recovery goals and connecting them with community resources such as housing, employment, and treatment.
Requires lived experience with sustained recovery and the ability to attend the DPH-BSAS 5-day Recovery Coach Academy. Candidates must pass CORI and SORI background checks and possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Description Bay State Community Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated Recovery Coach to provide peer-based support to individuals in recovery from substance use disorders.
The Recovery Coach serves as a mentor, advocate, and resource, helping participants identify and achieve their recovery goals while connecting them to community-based services and supports.
This position is ideal for individuals who have personal lived experience with recovery and are passionate about helping others navigate their own recovery journey.
