The Medical Assistant will provide clinical support services at the occupational health clinic, handling both front and back office activities such as greeting patients, managing schedules, and handling medical records. Key duties include performing patient intakes, initial evaluations, providing specialized services based on the visit reason, and referring patients to appropriate healthcare providers.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with current certification in the State of California, free from disciplinary action, and possess a minimum of five years of clinical experience. Required abilities include phlebotomy experience, administering injections, strong customer service and administrative skills, and familiarity with Worker’s Compensation guidelines.
