The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will observe, document, and report on patient progress toward treatment goals while teaching patients new approaches to tasks and breaking down activities into achievable components. Under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist, the role involves optimizing patients’ functional abilities and skills while maintaining professional standards and compliance.
Candidates must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant program and possess a state COTA license or be license eligible. Additional requirements include holding a valid state driver's license and current CPR certification.
Detail-Oriented: Observe, note and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals and ensure proper documentation of patient care.
