The Veterinary Assistant will support veterinarians and technicians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures, while also providing compassionate care and handling for all patients. Duties include administering medications, preparing clinical areas, performing diagnostic tests under supervision, and educating clients on post-treatment care.
Candidates must possess three or more years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant and demonstrate strong diagnostic, technical, and communication abilities. The role requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, coupled with a positive attitude and passion for patient care.
