The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary and acute care to residents in a nursing home, which includes performing assessments, diagnosing conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans. Key duties also involve prescribing medications, ordering tests, collaborating with staff, and educating patients and families while maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must possess a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program and hold an active New York State Nurse Practitioner License, along with Board Certification. New graduates are explicitly welcomed, and technical proficiency in geriatric care and chronic disease management is required.
Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Active New York State Nurse Practitioner License (Required).
Must be Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
