The Ultrasound Technician will perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging on patients across all age groups, ensuring adherence to proper protocols and clinical instructions. Key duties include maintaining equipment functionality, accurate documentation, and ensuring all studies are correctly transmitted to PACS.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited sonography program and possess at least one year of relevant ultrasound experience. Essential qualifications include holding American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging on patients of all ages Use proper protocols and settings based on clinical history and ordering provider instructions Ensure proper documentation and image labeling Maintain cleanliness and functionality of ultrasound equipment Work closely with providers, nurses, and radiology team Ensure all studies are transmitted to PACS and logged appropriately Proficiency in scanning: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Small parts, Vascular (preferred but not required) Ability to work independently Must be familiar with PACS/RIS systems
