The primary responsibility is operating MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images of specified body parts as requested by a radiologist. The technologist must produce quality images suitable for interpretation and function independently with minimal supervision.
Candidates must graduate from an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology School and either be board certified by ARRT(MR) or obtain certification within two years of graduation. A minimum of 2 years of related experience is preferred, along with knowledge of medical terminology and sterile procedures.
