The Registered Nurse maintains established standards of care, policies, objectives, and goals while administering professional nursing care to all patients. This includes identifying patient needs, planning and delegating care, and evaluating patient responses to care to ensure expected outcomes are met.
Candidates must be graduates of an Accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License, with BLS certification required during orientation. New RN graduates are accepted, but excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Education: Graduate of Accredited School of NursingLicense, Certification and/or Registration: Current Alabama or Multi-state Nursing License required.BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period. ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas based on patient populatiion.
